Since 1970 EMI´s production has largely been related to equipment and components for the shipbuilding industry with a Quality Assurance System according to ISO 9001 and a Health and Environment Quality Assurance System.

All products are manufactured in shipsteel quality, stainless and duplex steel:

• Swing-away tank access hatches of original, partially patented, design for chemical- and oil tankers, and cargo ships
• Seatight tank-cleaning hatches of unique design for chemical freighters and oil tankers
